The US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Joint Genome Institute (JGI) released the latest episode of its “Genome Insider” podcast, “Better Crops With a Pointillist Approach to Plant Genomics,” featuring speakers from the “Single Cell and Spatial Biology Across the Plant Kingdom” concurrent symposium that took place on Sunday, July 10, at Plant Biology 2022.
In the podcast, Chair Benjamin Cole (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and JGI), along with speakers Margot Bezrutczyk (JGI), Diana Ruggiero (Oregon State University, Leiboff Lab), Xiaosa Xu (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Jackson Laboratory), Alex Canto Pastor (UC Davis, Brady Lab), and Bruno Guillotin (New York University, Birnbaum Lab), provide insights on single-cell genomics focusing on plant-microbe interactions and mRNA measurement.
