Gramene researchers are sharing their passion for plants and plant science in the community and online:

  • On May 19 of 2015, Dr. Marcela Karey Tello-Ruiz, project manager for Gramene, will present an interactive demonstration for kindergartners at Bayville Elementary School in Bayville, NY on the subject of “Plants in our every day lives”.
  • On May 19 of 2015, Dr. Joshua Stein, will present a free online webinar on available resources for rice researchers in the Gramene and Ensembl Plants databases. Get the full scoop and register HERE!
  • On May 20 of 2015, Dr. Marcela Karey Tello-Ruiz, project manager for Gramene, will present an interactive demonstration for elementary school children at the Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club in Locust Valley, NY on the subject of “Plants in our every day lives”.
